Why Regular Blog Updates are Critical?

by Vickie Perry Barker

The primary purpose of a blog is to interact with your audience – your customers and colleagues – in a personal or professional manner. An interesting blog is one that is updated if not daily, a couple of times a week with content written in a way that keeps its readers returning for more.

A major benefit of blogging is that it can generate significant traffic to your firm’s website. Each time you publish a blog post, your blog’s feed is updated and submitted to the major search engines. If you are updating your blog,  its feed is regularly pinging the search engines.

The more posts and pages you have indexed by Google, Yahoo, Bing and other major search engines, the more likely your blog will appear in search results and generate targeted traffic to your blog.

What’s the bottom line? It is:

  • You should publish fresh content to your blog daily or at least a couple of times each week
  • Incorporate relevant keywords into your blog posts and pages (make sure you research your keywords to determine viability)
  • Share your content and promote your blog using social media and networking sites

So, are you ready to start writing fresh content for your blog? Need blog management or ghost blogging services?

If you need help managing your blog, hire a legal blog assistant to keep it updated with fresh and informative content your audience wants to read.
